Need one more reason to love the Design Club?
Here it is.
Some people have a hard time visualizing what something will look when it changes.
For example, when a non-web designer looks at Oakwood, they see a website for a construction company.
That’s it. That’s what it is.
Can a florist use that design? Nope, that’s for a construction company.
Can a lawyer use that design? Nope, that’s for a construction company.
Ever deal with that problem?
A step in the right direction
After some feedback from users about that very problem… we brainstormed a way to help people visualize what a design would look like with different colors, different images and a different logo.
And we came up with something super-simple (the best ideas usually are).
“Mr. Client YOUR website will look very different, for example take a look at this website which is based on Oakwood, but for a furniture company… the layout is the same but with a different color scheme, different photos and your logo… it completely changes the look. So don’t get caught up in the photos/colors from these demos.”
So use that screenshot and/or this link to help clients “get it”.
